I will write here the mistakes I am making very often, this post will be updated regularly..
1. After setting up Multiplexing on the STU’s, policies and clients etc, everything works fine… Then I disable multiplexing on one the policies, and i forgot what i did.
When I return back and start the policy, the backups run without multiplexing, and i always wonder why… :)
When changing the policy with multiplexing increased, everything runs as they were before…
2. When trying to add a new media server to my puredisk storage server configuration (Using PDDO, not MSDP), I always forget to check dns resolution between the master server – media server and puredisk server. And this causes problems like: “Add credentials failed for media server”
When i resolve dns resolution problems on these servers, everything continues to work fine…
3. Everytime I forget use and requirements of bpbackup and fail to run. I always forget that I need to give permission on master server if i want to run bpbackup from a client. (Ref: Symantec NetBackup Commands Reference Guide 7.1, page 58. )

A thing I usually forget is that after a NBU client upgrade you have to set the service account again. Feels kinda daft when the exchange cluster backups fail with error 69 as the client service account cant read the information store.
Very true, I did the same mistake many times… :)
